2017 EVENTS…

God is on the move in Northeastern Wisconsin and it’s time for His people to come together and cover His moves in Prayer.  Join us for any or all of the events during this 22nd local celebration of the National Day of Prayer. Our hope and prayer is that this year’s events will be the catalyst for ongoing citywide prayer in our area, preparing us all for the next move of God. Admission to the breakfast and lunch are $20 each, the other events are free of charge. All events will be held at the K.I. Convention Center, 333 Main Street, Green Bay, WI.

Community and Leader’s Breakfast
Time: 7:00 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.
Cost: $20 per person, table of 10 – $200
This year’s event will be a reflection on the rich history of the NDP observance here in Brown County. Mary Dunsmoor, the originator of the local observance 22 years ago, will speak about why it was started and what its founders hoped to accomplish. The baton of leadership will be passed on to Pat Boyer, Leap of Faith Group, who will speak about what he believes God plans to do here in our community in the future. Join us for this compelling look at our past, present and future of prayer in Green Bay and Brown County.

Community Prayer
Time: 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Cost: FREE
Immediately following the Community and Leader’s Breakfast, you’re invited to join with other prayer warriors on our knees as we come together and agree in prayer coverage for our community. We’ve got insights into what leaders of each of the 7 mountains of culture have on their hearts – family, education, business, government, ministry (religion), media and entertainment – but honestly, we’ll be following the Spirit’s leading on this one … from 8:50 a.m. until the Spirit says we’re done.

Ladies’ Luncheon
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
Cost: $20 per person, table of 10 – $200

Most people think of slavery as a thing of the past. The upsetting reality is that modern day slavery happens all over the world, even in the U.S., and even in Green Bay, WI. That’s right, human trafficking is happening right here in the 920 area code. Join Dona Schmidt as she hosts Colleen Stratton, survivor of human trafficking and volunteer with Eye Heart World, a ministry that works directly with survivors of trafficking in the (920), providing essential resources and facilitating the healing process.

Colleen Stratton is a speaker, writer and survivor of human trafficking. She is passionate about using her story to educate, inform and empower others. After years of walking about in darkness, shackled in chains of addiction, shame and fear, she experienced a radical transformation as a result of God’s amazing gift of grace. Colleen has a heart for proclaiming freedom to the captives and hope to the hopeless. It is her joy to be a member of the Eye Heart World outreach team, as she is able to share her experience and hope with the women she comes in contact with.

Evening of Praise, Worship & Prayer
Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Cost: FREE
Many promises throughout scripture let us  know that when we pray, God hears our cry! When God’s children get together as one to cry out to Him, it moves His heart and changes the course of history. Join us as we pray with one voice over our nation, for God to hear us, to forgive us and heal us as individuals, as a church, as a city, as a state and as a nation … and for God to heal our world! We’ll start with worship, and then focus our praise on God. And we’ll finish with time for anyone in attendance to pray what God has placed on their hearts.
